Where should the medical check-up be done?

According to the Malaysian government’s regulations, all applicants and their dependents must submit a medical check-up report in English or Malay after receiving approval. It is recommended to undergo the health screening at any private hospital or clinic within Malaysia. The medical report must be submitted using the RBII form.

The RBII form is the official medical check-up form for the “Malaysia My Second Home” program. It is typically completed by a doctor after the applicant undergoes a medical examination at a clinic or hospital in Malaysia.

The examination covers the applicant’s general health condition, including blood pressure, heart and lung function, presence of infectious diseases, medication history, etc. Blood tests include screening for HIV, Hepatitis A, blood sugar and cholesterol levels, kidney and liver functions, and a urine test. Chest and lung X-rays are also required to screen for tuberculosis. All test results must be certified by a Commissioner for Oaths.

Upon completion, the doctor must sign and stamp the RBII form, and affix the clinic or hospital’s official seal.

How to purchase medical insurance?

After approval, all applicants and their dependents are required to hold a valid medical insurance policy applicable in Malaysia. This requirement is waived for applicants aged 60 and above.
